WHAT A SAD NEWS

Late Prof. B. Shofoluwe.

All the management, staff and students of the UNVERSITY OF LAGOS (unilag) are in three days mourning from today the 14th - 16th May, 2012 to remember the death of the vice chancellor in person of Professor Babatunde Shofoluwe.
The sad story was reported on the unversity Redio Station (Unilag F.M) on Saturday 13th of May, 2012 confirming the death their V/C who died of cardiac arrest (heart failure) at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Idi-Araba, Lagos. The news throw every body into a surprise dream as he was seen recently working towards the facaulty of computer science at the main campus on Tuesday. From the same station, we understand that he immediately called his Doctor when the incidence happened and he was taken to the Hospital for treatment, he was latter referred to LUTH where he was confirmed dead. 

Over one thousand people visited the deceased resident to register their condoles among who was the Lagos state Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN).

Within the short time of knowing him, he was an epitome of emulation, man of vision and integrity. He always wants to acknowledge other people's view. I am also in position to say much about him because I'm one of his postgraduate students. He never look down on any body no matter the stature of that person. He is a father to all the students. in fact, many of the students we feel his absence.
We can not but give God the glory and honor for a life worth spent on earth.
